Shelf Life: 6 months, cool dry storageRimadyl (Carprofen) is an effective anti-inflammatory drug used in a variety of species including rodents. Rimadyl MD's are 5 gram size, bacon flavored tablets that meet both the nutritional and pain medication needs of rodents. The highly palatable tablets encourage appetite post-operatively promoting a more rapid recovery versus other conventional methods. They are an ideal pain-free alternative to stressful and laborious post-operative injections. Rimadyl MDs can be customized to include other medications to deliver both medications easily and affordably.

For best acceptance, introduce Bio-Serv's placebo or MD tablets 1-2 days prior to surgery. Place tablets at cage floor level for ease of access by the animal. Scored tablets allow flexibility in dosing. Feed 1/4 MD tablet to 1 full MD tablet per mouse per day to provide the daily medication dose and dietary supplement. Mouse standard feed should remain in feed hopper.
RatsFor best acceptance, introduce Bio-Serv's placebo 1-2 days prior introduction of MDs. Provide one MD tablet per rat per day to provide daily medication dosage and nutritional supplementation to standard feed. Tablets can be placed cage floor level or in feeder dish. Rats daily standard feed should remain in feed hopper.
