Shelf Life: 12 months, cool dry storageSCIDS formulation was developed by researchers at the Fox Chase Cancer center as the standard of care for preventing the pathogen PCC in immunocompromised rodent models. Trimethoprim and Sulfamethoxazole are efficaciously dosed in a highly palatable tablet with a high acceptance by rodents for ease of dosing a large number of rodents over a period of time while saving labor costs than more traditional dosing methods. Additionally, the diet can be fed as a prophylaxis to other immunocompromised rodent models.

Mice:
For best acceptance, introduce Bio-Servs placebo tablets 1-2 days prior to introduction of MD's. Remove standard feed from food hopper. Tablets can be placed on cage floor level for immobilized animals or in feed hopper to replace standard diet. Feed diet ad libitum to provide both daily medication dosage and dietary requirements of mouse. On average a standard mouse will consume 1 tablet per day.Rats:
